Our studies to date show that the Martin family originated in Wiltshire with records going back to 1776. Descendants of these Martins moved to Monmouthshire and the Rhondda Valley area in South Wales in the 1880s where they married into Welsh families. Our mother's family, Thomas, originated in Carmarthenshire. |
